One of the major products of SAGE is a case study methodology that would allow for inter-comparisons of implemented coastal resilience projects. For the initial case studies the data collection has been completed using a template that was co-developed by SAGE members from several different disciplinary fields. To promote collaboration, increase transparency, and facilitate inter-comparability among case studies, the case study protocol was translated into codes and implemented into an NVivo template by Melissa Kenney’s research team. Given the scale-up of efforts over the upcoming years, this method will provide an approach that will provide baseline data that can be supplemented by researchers to ask questions given their disciplinary perspective.
The first file contains the template we used for all of the cases. Please feel free to use it for your own work and we would appreciate the credit for developing the template. For how to credit the grant see the About page. Following the Template file are the case studies we have completed so far. If you are interested in adding to our database please contact Professor Elisabeth Hamin. Click here for the SAGE Case Study Template |
