Cynthia Rolli has worked on environmental and hazard mitigation projects in the US and the Caribbean for more than twenty years. Recently, Cynthia helped the Caracol Industrial Park in Haiti develop a Disaster Risk Management Plan and Climate Change Adaptation Plan. Previously employed by the Government of the British Virgin Islands, Cynthia played integral roles in both the Environmental Impact Assessment and the Hazard Vulnerability and Risk Assessment processes for the country.
Cynthia has researched the natural hazards and environmental risks impacting the Islands of Tortola, Virgin Gorda and Anegada, and authored chapters for the Environmental Profile documents produced by the Island Resource Foundation. Cynthia is currently employed with Tetra Tech, as a Regional Program Management Lead consulting on the FEMA Risk MAP Program. She facilitates the development of the Risk Analysis Strategic Plan determining the long-term vision and goals for a national program designed to analyze, assess and communicate risk from natural hazards.
